Composite Resin Fillings

Composite resin dental fillings were created as an alternative to traditional metal dental fillings. After decay removal, composite resin filling can be completed straight afterwards.

We often utilize laser decay removal first, before restoring the prepared/ cleaned cavity with Composite Resin material.

It is tooth-coloured, to look like a natural tooth and it is made of a plastic dental resin. Composite Resin Dental Fillings are reasonably strong, durable, and make for a very natural looking smile. Many dental insurance plans cover their use.

In comparison to Amalgam filling, Composite Resin lasts only a few years, before secondary decay occurs around it. This problem becomes more evident in large sized cavity, especially where contact decay against next door tooth is involved.
